I always love Anderson's writing. She does a beautiful job not only making her characters believable but totally likeable, even if they aren't perfect. She always does a stellar job using children as catalysts for lots of thought, feeling, action movement in her books. She keeps the "steam" down to a hot cup of cocoa, but enough to make it fun to read and imagine being there.

Destiny Came Knocking A Snow Valley Romance edition by Cindy Roland Anderson Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

It's hard to believe Ms. Anderson's debut novel FIRST CATCH only came out three short years ago. Seems like I've been reading and enjoying her books for much longer. Ms. Anderson quickly made it to my favorite author shelf after she continues to deliver such fun contemporary romances with each book she writes (I also love the "shoe" theme she has in each of her books and how they always match the heroine of the story...). I love her Snow valley series (it'd be great if it got released in a box set!) and was excited when I saw Destiny Came Knocking was part of this wonderful series.

Piper Jensen escapes to Snow Valley, MT to try and get her life back on track and avoiding men. She doesn't count on meeting her handsome neighbor or falling for his two adorable children. I really liked Piper, she was very caring and just seemed like the kind of person you'd want to be friends with. Gabe was a very likable guy, a great father and I thought Piper and Gabe had great chemistry! Their "meet cute" was super fun and I love how their relationship unfolded.

I really enjoyed this one, it was a fun escape. I love Ms. Anderson's book and look forward to hopefully many more years of her books. )

I just love reading books by Cindy Anderson! Isn't the cover so cute on this one? I love those shoes! I would die walking in them where I live in the winter, but I love them all the same. This story is also in the Winter in Snow Valley Anthology but this stand alone version has a bonus epilogue. Yay!

Piper and Gabe get off to sort of a rocky start but the chemistry between them is crackling and I just couldn't help but be sucked in by it. First came the dogs, then the handsome dad, then cute kids and puppies! How can you resist such things?! I couldn't. I fell in love with all of it. ) I was so impatient for Piper and Gabe to get over the whole fighting the attraction thing! It made the coming together all the sweeter.

This is a great addition to the Snow Valley Romance collection. Cindy Roland Anderson is one of my favorites and I'm always so happy to read her books!

Content Clean. Some kissing and mention of a marital affair.

-I was given a copy of this book by the author. I was under no obligation to give a positive review and all opinions expressed are my own.
Gabe and Piper had an intereating book. First she was trying to breed a purebred but Gabe's dog decided to be the father instead. That's how it all started. Then you learn that Victoria from Jace's book got married. So now his son lost his best friend, on top of his mother and brother. Since Gabe cant have kids, I hope Piper doesnt want any other than his two kids. That was surprising. Aww....Kellen and Ivy got married. I wish there was an epiloque in their book to show a proposal but at least we know they are married. I'm so glad Emma didn't hold Piper responsible about the puppies. That was sweet. It was hard to see when Shane didn't want Piper as his mom. I could see that he was hurt and maybe afraid she'd leave like his mother. I kept asking myself how did Gabe end up with MaryEllen. She was not motherly at all and who abondons your kids? Gabe was such the opposite. He was a great father and nurturing. Piper would make a wonderful mother. She was such a caring person. I loved her. I love how thess books focus on just kissing and abstinence. I kept hoping Pipers secret didnt blow up in her face. It was interesting how 3 chapters left and Doreen elopes in Mexico. That was interesting. Yup keeping it a secret was not a good idea. I smiled when Ivy tried to help and laughed when Kellen said his wife is bidding into his love life. That was funny. Oh Piper. Of you have a timeshare that Caytie has, she'll probably just tell Gabe where you are. Just saying. Yup! Caytie or Ivy or both told him where Piper was. I love them! In glad for theor HEA but wish you saw how Gabe's kids felt about the proposal. All and all a good series.
I love Piper and Gabe's story! A cozy, tender read that's perfect for the Christmas Season. I highly recommend it.
This the first book I Cindy Roland Anderson that Cindy has written, but believe me, it won't be the last. She makes the characters very intering and brings lots of smiles to your face.
I've enjoyed all the snow valley series, and this was no exception! Light, easy reading, my only complaint is that it wasn't longer!
One of her best! The relationship worked well and the chemicals palpable. Only complaint didn't want it to end. Hope more like this keep coming.
